Up until the 70-80th chapter I was enjoying this enough to see where it might lead until I realized it was just one ridiculous thing after another. It’s just literary-themed Jojo with okay art. Will keep reading, but might not necessarily recommend to others. Ignore the comment below me. The characters in this manga are multi faceted and have tons of eccentric quirks to make them concept of everyone being based on an author is genius and there was so much creativity put into their designs. And this manga isn't even based on a light novel series; the light novels are a spinoff of the manga. I'm not sure why this series skyrocketed to become one of the most popular series in recent years. It just isn't good. Like the vast swath of series created from light novel franchises, there just isn't any depth to the characters. Pacing is complete garbage, by the way. The first book is really good and should have just been left there. It's a fun folktale-like story with a twist. But subsequent books add characters after characters after characters without giving our original cast any development or depth!Really mediocre, poorly executed work. I'm also looking forward for next chapters~ 3 this is as of lately, chapter 3 xD, is very interesting~ Art is very cool as well~! 3 characters ain't that bad~ and story is starting to spice~Really looking forward for it~ Well, there's only two chapters out, but what's there so far is plenty interesting. The plot's a lot like a lot of other manga I've read people with powers in a detective agency but there's a pretty good surprise twist well, maybe a little predictable at the end of the chapters. It's fun, and the characters are already likeable and while you know there's plenty we don't know about them yet, they're funny and expressive. Dazai in particular is hilarious? with his half-hearted obsession with trying to commit suicide. I get the feeling there might be a sad-backstory reason for that though. Maybe.
